Nina Crowhurst

​

Nina is an experienced APA Sports Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) and a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy. 

​

She has an extensive Sports Physio CV which includes

-  Head Physio for West Coast Fever Netball Team 

-  Physio for the Australian Under 17s, 19s and 20s Netball Squad

-  Tennis Australia, Hopman Cup and Federation Cup

-  Hockeyroos/AIS Women’s hockey program

-  Perth Football Club

-  Gold Coast Commonwealth Games - Hockey

-  WAIS Preferred Provider (Sports Medicine) Netball /Hockey

Nina is also experienced in Occupational Health having worked as an onsite consultant for several large companies and as a FIFO Physiotherapist in Mining and Oil/Gas for 2 years.  This experience enabled her to develop a good understanding of the unique issues faced by FIFO workers as well as an appreciation of the physical demands of the different job roles involved in FIFO work.

Nina has a strong hands-on and exercise prescription approach to treatment with a focus on ensuring underlying individual biomechanical factors are properly addressed.  She has a particular interest in treating lower limb kinetic chain issues and is passionate about rehabilitating all injuries to the highest level of performance.  This prevents secondary injury and ensures the best outcomes for the athlete in both injury management and sports performance.

 Nina is also a qualified Clinical Pilates Instructor and Accredited Athletics Australia Running Coach, past Chairperson and Committee member for the WA branch of Sports Physiotherapy Australia and has supervised Post-Graduate Sports Physiotherapy Students.  Personal interests include endurance sports – long distance running and triathlon, basketball, netball, nutrition and travel.
